Hello there!
My name is Lars Vlasveld, and I’m a student at Inholland University of Applied Sciences. I’m studying Applied Mathematics and Data Science, and as I’m about to turn 22, I’ve been feeling a real sense of wonder about how everything in the world is connected.
Logic and Wonder
I’m a big fan of the logical precision of Math and the power of Data Science. But I’m not just about the technical stuff. I’m also fascinated by the bigger, more philosophical questions of life—like the nature of time and space, and how different things are actually connected in ways we might not think.
A Philosophy of Balance
I believe life is all about finding balance. It’s about chasing our dreams and goals, but also making time for the things that really matter. I think freedom is super important—the freedom to explore our ideas, travel the world, and make our own choices. It’s not something I take for granted, and I believe that everyone deserves to have that kind of freedom.
Driven by Curiosity
My curiosity doesn’t stop at the books and lectures. I’m always trying to learn about different beliefs and perspectives, and I recently had some really interesting conversations with people from the Catholic community. I don’t go into these discussions with any preconceived ideas; I just want to learn and understand the world better.
This same curious spirit drives me to explore the digital world too. I’m fascinated by technology and cybersecurity, and I’m always looking for new ways to use my skills to make a positive difference.
Life as a Grand Adventure
In the end, I see life as a grand adventure. It’s about facing challenges, learning from our mistakes, and building a future that’s not just good for us, but also for the world.
